Please respond to the latest School Leadership 2.0 survey

This year is the first time that more U.S. college students will learn entirely online compared to being fully in-person. Research shows most online programs cost as much or more than in-person.  Read more at https://www.npr.org/2025/07/11/nx-s1-5459969-e1/more-college-students-now-learn-entirely-online-than-completely-in-person  .  What do you think of this trend?

I like it. It gives students more flexibility.

I dislike it. It ruins the person-to-person growth that is so important.

If you could wave a magic wand, what's the one thing you would change about the teachers in your school/district to make them more effective teachers? All submissions will be published anonymously.

I would make them complain less. Complaining all the time won't change situations; your attitude will. Sometimes they are unhappy about things that happen outside and bring them to school with them. They treat kids as adults.

Comparing themselves with other teachers. We have an issue with teacher-to-teacher conflicts. They try to get each other in trouble by going straight to ADM to rat out another teacher. It has completely changed the climate and culture of our building.

Focus on mastery and not so much on what they need to cover.

I would give them all detailed lesson plans with engaging activities that are differentiated, so every classroom is teaching an appropriate curriculum at the correct level of instruction

Effective planning and differentiated assessments
