From a Biblical perspective.

A combination of security team and addressing mental health issues with early intervention. Staff training to look for indications of mental disorders.

Provide more after-school tutoring, enrichment, clubs, mentoring, sports, and technical programs.

Counselors and mental health professionals are indeed important, but without a systemic and unified approach to student wellness, those folks will be spinning their wheels. Schools need ongoing partnerships with community agencies.

All the above!

Remove/Expel/Discharge students or staff who have committed more than 2 safety incidents within a specific period of time. Repeat offenders should only receive 2 chances to prove themselves safe within the school environment.

I also select the 1st option of stricter security measures. This would assist in the safety of all. Hiring more counselors is beyond needed. The mental health needs present nowadays are unmanageable. I wish I had more characters to finish my thought

Students need people to talk to in order to work out their problems as they are not getting help and support at home

All of the above. Every leader, staff member, and student needs training, if currently unable, to address these physical and emotional safety needs.

Implement school school-wide behavior plan with a focus on positive behaviors
