Dr. Randall Glading joins the Educational Leadership and Literacy Department at the Isabelle Farrington College of Education after enjoying 35 years of service in public education. Early on in his career, he taught Special Education and Physical Education in the New York City Public Schools eventually aspiring to the position of Assistant Principal at the Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. After 16 years of service in New York City, Dr. Glading continued his professional career when he assumed an administrative position at Yorktown High School in Yorktown Heights, N.Y. In addition, for the past 10 years he has provided instruction in the Graduate Schools of Education at both Mercy College and the College of New Rochelle.

Always viewed as a highly motivated individual, Dr, Glading is committed to enhancing the educational experience and personal growth of all members of the academic community. With over 25 years of experience in teacher evaluation and placing the student in the middle of the learning process, he looks forward to working with master teachers who are looking to pursue their personal dreams of becoming an effective school leader.

Dr. Glading’s first publication in 2008 was titled “Overcoming the senior slump: meeting the challenges with internships”. This text provides school leaders with a framework to enhance the senior year of high school for young adults before moving on to post – secondary education.
