Samuel Blumenfeld, the author of more than 10 books about education, has created a long video where he basically concludes that our K-12 education system is a criminal enterprise.

Many people say that our Education Establishment has, for more than 50 years, been engaged in "the deliberate dumbing down of America," as Charlotte Iserbyt put it.
All of my research points in the same direction. And now Samuel Blumenfeld says it in a way that no one can ignore.

Are the people in charge of education our benevolent friends? Or are they nasty ideologues engaged in a perpetual attempt to weaken the country?

It's horrible stuff to think about. In any case, everyone should know who Samuel Blumenthal is. I would say he's one of the handful of real educators we have in this country.
