Hi Lou!  Great to hear from you!  Life in the literacy world is BUSY!  I run a summer workshop series during the first week of August (kind of like a mini institute) and that is taking up all of my time.  If you've got teachers who might be interested, here's the information: http://www.literacy-builders.com/workshops/start-september-strong

We've launched some new efforts in Lindenhurst and we are making great inroads in some of my other districts.  All very exciting.  You must be a little sad that Bower closed, huh?  I know it's been awhile since you were there but still, I can imagine that I'd still feel a pang of sadness.

Be well!  Hope our paths cross at some point!

Hi Lou,

Welcome. Check out the Data Group at http://schoolleadership.ning.com/group/data. We have been quiet for a while, but I am sure you will help liven things up!

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching

practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
