Please join Mike Keany and Victor Jaccarino as they present this hands-on workshop for administrators and school curriculum leaders, future administrators, Department Chairs, and instructional leaders. Participants will work with both Mike and Victor to understand the challenges of a changing curriculum in all subject areas. Participants will examine the shifts that change means for school leaders. Part of the workshop will be utilized to develop a more thorough understanding of what a lesson that is aligned with new and higher standards looks like. Participants will explore best practice methods of leading their staff and colleagues to a deeper understanding of what is now expected of them in order to meet these higher expectations. Institute participants will develop a plan for implementing what they learned during the institute in their own schools.
