I just posted a video that I came across from Yahoo. It seems that they are getting ready to release a collaborative community approach to getting teacher together from across the world to share lessons and resources. It looks very interesting!

Here is a link to the site: http://teachers.yahoo.com/
Lets start with Voicethread

A VoiceThread is an online media album that can hold essentially any type of media (images, documents and videos) and allows people to make comments in 5 different ways - using voice (with a microphone or telephone), text, audio file, or video (with a webcam) - and share them with anyone they wish. A VoiceThread allows group conversations to be collected and shared in one place, from anywhere in the world.

Voicethread is an amazing application that holds great promise for the classroom.
Hello Clifford- Thank you for all the resources and sites- I am gaining so much. I am very interested in voicethread- it has a bit of a different spin and chockful of possibilities! I just joined and can't wait to see how kids take to it. I added a short 'stop animation' one of my former students recently created for the fun of it. interested to see if someone leaves a message on(about) it.

Older discussion, but thought I'd contribute...

+1 for VoiceThread - Excellent tool!
