Hi!  Not to toot Scholastic's horn, but I have participated in several of their professional development webcasts and found them to be very informative and well worth my time.  Just a heads up for all, the next one is coming up featuring Laura Robb....

Here is the link if anyone else is interested!  & HappyFriday!!

Sounds great!  What do you like about the webcasts?  I have never participated in one and would love to!
The webcasts are very convenient-- since they are online, you can participate from wherever you may be, as long as you have an internet connection.  Also, since they are live and recorded on the web, you can return and re-read the dialogue that happens. Sometimes  things sound great at the seminar but then when you try it in the classroom, well..... this way I can go back and make sure I remembered to implement the way the webcast recommended.  Also, I love finding new ways to teach things-- every new tip is another tool in my bag.  :)

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching

practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
