In the last few years, I've become more and more fascinated by the silence of the media.
The public needs to know what's going on in the classrooms. The media won't tell them.
Look in the typical newspaper. It will tell you how to cook a fish. It will tell you where to find a tattoo artist. It will tell you which Chevrolet is a good one...
It will tell you everything except why your kids might not know how to read, etc. Education should have a much higher priority.
But the public waits in vain for serious discussion of education.
