What's the effect of teachers' unions on schools?
Two studies found different conclusions on how teachers' unions affect schools. One study found that stronger unions helped drive more money into classrooms and improved student learning, while the other study found that, in Wisconsin, weaker unions led to more college students pursuing teaching degrees, which possibly could help reduce teacher shortages.
