The legend of John Saxon-- bigger all the time.

Bet you didn't know that 1 million homeschoolers use Saxon Math textbooks.

When people can choose what they want, they choose Saxon Math.

Eighteen years after he died, John Saxon is still a powerful force in American education. I think he will get much bigger.

The public is so disgusted with Reform Math and Common Core. They want stuff that works.

I just interviewed Nakonia Hayes, who wrote a biography of John Saxon. She was a schoolteacher on an Indian reservation. She was forced to use Saxon books, loved them, and became totally devoted to promoting his work.

If you know people with kids in school and they are trying to decide what books should be used, this interview is a good place to start.

Also, if you have anything to do with curriculum design and textbook selection, you  can expect to hear a lot more about John Saxon and this is a quick way to learn what he's all about:

Bottom line: I think the best thing anyone can do for American K-12 education is to promote the work of John Saxon.
