Socialism versus Education. Guess who loses.

Starting with John Dewey, our Education Establishment tended to think of education as primarily social engineering.

In other words, their goal was dumbing down but for all the right reasons. Even if you agree with a socialist agenda, is it good to do all this in secrecy?

We need a lot more open discussion of what's going on in our schools. There is a lot of deliberate dumbing down. And you can't stop this process unless you understand how the other side thinks.
