For those who still care about facts and knowledge...

You know who you are. You think the most wonderful thing in the world is when kids learn lots and lots of stuff.

But you also know that the whole trend of K-12 education is toward kids learning attitudes, competencies, rhetorical skills, and all kinds of things that are not at all the same as learning what happened in 1492. You think this is sad.

An education without facts is, for many of us, a fraud.

And the irony is that with all the new digital and technological advances, real education should be easier than ever.

Here is an article titled "What a wonderful world it would be." It's an attack on not teaching very much. And encouragement to teach a lot. It's for everyone who still cares about facts and knowledge.
