A Network Connecting School Leaders From Around The Globe
Education reform is easy???
Aren't you thinking, how could that possibly be? Aren't we told every day in the media and professional literature that the public schools are a tragic mess and the only solution is vastly more money?
Think about it for a second. That is a very self-serving view of the world. If schools can't be readily improved, then the people in charge of the schools can't be criticized or blamed for anything that is going wrong. That is an all-purpose get out of jail free card.
This article explains why it's easy to reform schools. If your dog is dirty and stinky, maybe you should start by giving it a bath. There, that was easy.

Serious PS:
As a matter of historical fact, the quest for education reform is the story of the last hundred years. The Education Establishment wrote the story, concocted all the narratives, created all the heroes and villains. To get what they wanted, they cut a few corners, we might say. So the problem for everyone in education at this point is to try to get out from underneath the weight of all these fictions. Most of the people in education are far to the left and they conduct education politics exactly the way politicians, as in the current election, conduct politics generally. They are not in it to lose.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource
Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and
other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
