My BS was in Computer Science. I worked for over 20 in the software business. At the age of 45 I was fortunately laid off and was able to reviewed my life. I wanted to find a profession in which I could earn enough of a living tto support my family (3 children - single mom) while contibuting to the general good of our society. I decided to become a teacher.
I called my local district HR person. She told me that older teachers were not considered for elementary positions…
