- I have been dedicated in serving our students and families within SFUSD with two years administrative experience, 15 years as a Spanish Bilingual teacher, about 7 years working closely with administration and staff in a variety of roles including a Teacher on Special Assignment for Multilingual Department, Literacy Coach, Academic Response to Intervention Facilitator, and Drop-out Prevention Specialist. In my doctorate program, I focused on the productivity and collegiality of teacher learning utilizing a multifaceted professional development. I believe in nurturing a community building upon strengths to create a positive school culture. I am committed to the well-being of children and their families with an antiracist lens for Social Justice and equity, which guides my work, so that all students learn and achieve.
