OSC Audit of Schools Overview
I have received permission from the OSC to share this powerpoint with others. It contains some basic guidelines and recommendations on different issues that auditors have come across in auditing school districts over the past several years. In particular, I am interested in how your districts are dealing with the IT policy recommendations contained in this slideshow. Does your district have an IT policy in place? Is it the same one that you use for eRate? Title IID? How does it get updated each year? and has your district implemented a disaster recovery plan yet?
