A Network Connecting School Leaders From Around The Globe
Currently we are running a hybrid traditional/PBL type of curriculum to service a population of students that were chronic skippers of classes, some behavioral issues, some substance issues, and nearly all are credit deficient. I'm sharing some informational links of stories and program websites to tell the story for me. Most of what you will see is from only 1 academy we run. We also run, Leadership and Law, "Truck" Farming (an organic farming themed program), and an ELA Academy that has done everything from produce student newsletters to writing sponsors for the motorcycle build you will see through the links.
I welcome ideas on how to best integrate more of this type of learning into the traditional classroom atmosphere and especially ideas for hands on approaches to mathematics. I'd also like to know more about prepping this student population for NYS Assessments.

This is very impressive work and a great example of PBL incorporated into "regular school" hours. Have your students used collaboration software at all to keep track of their projects and share information. It seems to me that you would have to have some kind of system that would allow students the ability to collaborate offline and online.
