I've thought a lot about what an outstanding English curriculum would entail and was wondering what you all think. What are the essential components of an English curriculum? How do you achieve the necessary balance between being overly prescriptive and overly vague? What processes have you found useful in creating it? What criteria do you use to evaluate it? I was wondering if anyone would like to exchange curricula or post his or her curricula up for constructive feedback. Anyone interested?
