Every employee in the school building -- not just the principal -- needs emergency-related professional development, says Amy Klinger, director of programs for The Educator's School Safety Network. Stephen Brock, school psychologist and an author of the National Association of School Psychiatrists' PREPARE curriculum, says the group offers tools to help support such PD.
