Ongoing professional learning is the key to recruiting and retaining millennial teachers, said Emily Poag of the Delaware Academy for School Leadership at the University of Delaware. At a recent conference, Poag offered insight into millennials to school principals and hiring managers, including their desire for work-life balance and ongoing conversations about performance.
