Thinking about a new idea: seminar learning model approach to making school day more engaging: Learning seminars in the morning, project based research seminars in the afternoon. Or, split existing 43 minute classroom time into two different seminars. Part One: chase the data/information. Part Two: use that information in a new and novel way. Create something to show understanding.

Any takers? OH I forgot--what would the State Ed Department think of this? Maybe research seminars that also include business readiness could get our students "career ready" as Dr. King from State Ed. Department is suggesting.
