School counselors work to offer virtual support

School counselors -- who on average support more than 250 students each -- have been challenged by the shift to remote learning, as they navigate ethical and logistic questions about how to support students. One high-school counselor says that, because she no longer sees her students in person, she emails them each a survey to rank their "state of mind that day."
