Literacy Specialist with Certifications in Gen & Spec Ed

I'm looking to expand my circle..:) I am a super enthusiastic and resourceful reading teacher without a job! Unfortunately, I worked at a private school as the literacy specialist/librarian and due to low enrollment, my position was cut for the 2015-2016 school year.  I currently tutor..a lot..and have a growing tutoring business. At this point in my life (I'm 30), I'm thinking of either giving public school teaching up or pursuing my dream of opening and creating my own reading curriculum for struggling readers. Of course I would love to work in a public school, but my luck in being at the right place at the right time and having connections has NOT worked. I just want to teach. That is all! Encouragement needed:)
