Is Money Enough To Motivate Employees?

Motivation to me should be based on empowerment and honesty. To give responsibility to employees, especially those that feel left out, is motivation enough to make them feel needed by not only you but the school as a whole. Let me illucidate on that. Telling a teacher " You're doing a nice job " is all well and good.giving them higher pay is even better. However, if you give the teacher higher pay because that is what you are told to do in order to satisfy the NCLB, to me, is counterproductive. In order to motivate, the administrator must assign higher level involvement in administration.
