Engagement strategies for the fast finishers in class

Teachers can manage fast finishers by introducing enrichment activities that promote self-directed learning, writes Todd Finley, English professor. Finley suggests creating a dedicated area for activities such as reading, puzzles, coding challenges and mindfulness apps like Headspace for Kids. He also emphasizes the importance of clear communication and expectations to ensure students are respectful of peers still finishing their work.
