Do diverse students seek diverse teachers?

Teachers of color may draw more diverse students into honors and Advanced Placement courses, according to a recent study. The research, coupled with previous research, examined enrollment trends and student data from North Carolina showed that students of color and others were more likely to enroll in an advanced course if one of the teachers was black.
