A Network Connecting School Leaders From Around The Globe

An industry report says there are a number of companies competing for education sector business, and the technology is growing in sophistication, with several units being guided from one station and various types of information being usable.
Another business guide to the technology notes that buyers should think about eight issues when making a purchase, including what and where the equipment will be used, what restrictions will be established, who and what will be the source of information, and how it will be reviewed.
It also says there are three components to a digital sign system, and that more than the monitor and media player, the content management software is the most important. It should allow schools to easily post material in any format, schedule posts, and manage and schedule users.
In another report on the technology in colleges, EdTech notes that buyers should carefully consider monitor size (it says the best display is 46-55 inches), and that the technology is moving toward being data-driven. Because more than with social media or texts, it allows school officials to "reach the right people at the right time."

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource
Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and
other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
