Hello all,

Some of us have spoken at length about the WHYTRY program and implementing it in schools, community youth agencies, and corrections. The is an evidence-based program that addresses life skills, problem solving and anger management. We were trying to put something together to give everyone an overview of the program. Over the past couple of months I have been working with James at WHY TRY program and he has graciously offered to have the founder and creator of this program come to Long Island and present to us the WHY TRY program. This is not a training but an overview of the program and the brand new elements that have been created.  There is no cost to attend this overview. The program is easy to implement and not very expensive. It can also be used as an addition to any existing programs you already have or in any setting. This program is visual and audio based with all materials available either online or in hard copy format. You can take a look at the some of the features of the program by going to WWW.WHYTRY.ORG.

This presentation is FREE. It will be at the Suffolk County Community College Sports and Exhibition Complex on the Grant Campus at Crooked Hill Rd. Brentwood NY.
