The New Leader Evaluation Assessment

 

Dr. Jan Hammond, Professor, SUNY New Paltz Educational Administration Department was a member of the New York State Education Department’s General Advisory Group as well as the School Leader Evaluation and Assessment Working Group.

 

Dr. Hammond actively participated in these committees for three years.  She assisted in the development of the new Evaluation Assessment for Principals and School Leaders.

 

Dr. Hammond will speak about her experiences on these state-wide committees and the process and the new Leader Evaluation Assessment.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and
