Operation SPLASH Kicks off Season on March 12th
with the Biggest Clean-up of the Year -- Volunteers Needed
On Saturday, March 12, from 9am – noon, Operation SPLASH. (Stop Polluting Littering and Save Harbors) will kick off the 2011 season with OpSPLASH 21, the largest clean-up of the year. In its 21st year, SPLASH volunteers will board boats and be ferried out to remote islands and marshes off the South Shore. Bags in hand, volunteers will be on the look out for all sorts of trash and debris that they can find.
