To discuss The Death and Life of the Great American School System and its implications for school reform

November 28, 2011 at 11:30 am- 1:00 pm

 

 

Diane Ravitch is an historian of education at New York University. Her best-selling book, The Death and Life of the Great American School System, has made her one of the nation's most sought after speakers on current educational issues. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and holds a PhD from Columbia University.  Dr. Ravitch is an outspoken critic of NCLB, Race to the Top and the inappropriate use of student test score data.

The luncheon will take place at

 South Side High School

140 Shepherd St.

Rockville Centre, NY

Luncheon cost: $20
