Bible-based curriculum narrowly passes in Texas
The Texas State Board of Education has approved an optional Bible-based curriculum for elementary schools, which has sparked debate over its potential promotion of Christian beliefs in public education. The curriculum, developed by the Texas Education Agency, includes lessons that integrate biblical concepts, such as the Golden Rule, with other religious teachings.
