THE COMMON CORE IN LITERACY: Getting Started
Discussion of the need for all stakeholders in the education community to begin implementation of Common Core State Standards as soon as possible, especially to further familiarize themselves with the strategies and methodologies associated with it. Suggested strategy includes teachers and administrators working together to implement at least one Common Core-aligned unit each semester in the 2011-12 school year, from design, through preparation and implementation.
