Diane Ravitch interviewed by Bill Moyers -- Public education is becoming big business as bankers, hedge-fund managers and private-equity investors are entering what they consider to be an “emerging market.” Preeminent education historian Diane Ravitch, a former assistant secretary of education, says the privatization of public education has to stop. She was an advocate school choice and charter schools, but after careful investigation, has changed her mind.
