Michael Fullan and Lyn Sharratt discuss their education system reform book Realization, how they collaborated as external researcher and internal practitioner to understand what made York Region become a stand out in student achievement. Their discussion sets out the concept of the 14 Parameters which has been subsequently re-used by several districts and schools around the world. One appendix to the book is a free self evaluation tool which districts and schools can use to prepare to become greater performers by follwing the 14 Parameters.
