Tell our School Leadership 2.0 community a little bit about yourself. Feel free to post your email address and website. Also feel free to list your areas of interest. This will help other members dialogue with you.: I am interested in a position teaching middle grades English Language Arts. My passion lies in guiding adolescents towards academic success, and exploration of thought through developing and implementing an innovative literacy based curriculum. I believe that the most rewarding classroom environment is one that empowers students by maintaining high expectations, supports the achievement of those expectations, and promotes diversity while creating community. Personally, I love to read, travel and explore other languages and cultures.

I am eager to jumpstart my career on Long Island after spending two years in the schools beautiful, sunny, Charleston, South Carolina and two years in the schools of the famously alive, New York City.
