Profile Information

Tell our School Leadership 2.0 community a little bit about yourself. Feel free to post your email address and website. Also feel free to list your areas of interest. This will help other members dialogue with you.: I am certified in Early Childhood Education (B-2) and Childhood Education (1-6). I am attending Hofstra University for my Master's degree in Special Education. I will be certified in Special Education in June 2013. I have worked 6 years as a preschool teacher, did sub work at Oceanside School District, and currently work in Long Beach School District as a teacher assistant. I am a one-to-one aid in a K-2 self contained classroom. I work with a student with a learning disability. I enjoy working in all levels of education. I am a goal-oriented person, a hard worker, and a team player. I believe that all students can learn and it is our job as teachers to find the best way to teach to each student so that they may be successful. My own interests outside the classroom consist of baking, crocheting, reading, and running. I have completed 11 half marathons and many 5k and 10k runs.
