My name is Brian Mannix and I work as a 7th grade social studies teacher at Great Neck South Middle School. I am currently getting my administrative degree and I am the coordinator of a Pay It Forward Club at our school as well as a Long Island-wide Pay It Forward Conference. This year we are looking to raise enough money to help build a house on Long Island through Habitat for Humanity. Check out our network at www.payitforwardconference.ning.com Since discover "web 2.0," I have been revitalized in my passion for the future of education.

Stephen Lando and Sharon Applebaum banned Jessica Liao from coming to their School Leadership pages. They would never add her as a friend. Just because she believes in full-inclusion programs for individuals with mental retardation and an inclusion policy for the rest of the students with disabilities, now she is banned. I think we should protest the Great Neck school district for this injustice.
