What We’re Watching: Welcome to Netflix Academy

The Fordham Institute wants to help parents turn TV time into learning time.

What they are calling Netflix Academy is a collection of streaming videos that teach core content to early elementary-school children. The videos are organized according to the Core Knowledge Sequence of of subjects from pre-K to eighth grade

“So put your kids in front of Netflix Academy over the holidays and enjoy a few guilt-free hours of adult time,” says Robert Pondiscio.

Mike Petrilli explains the project here.
