Study: Teacher input increases acceptance of reforms
A study shows that educators are more likely to support an initiative if given a voice in how it is designed and introduced. Given this option, teachers may adjust the program to previous practices, which could "water down" efforts or prevent significant changes that could do more harm than good to student progress, the study's researchers say.
