Study: Art is a catalyst for science learning

Fifth-grade students are better able to remember what they learn in science class when art is incorporated into lessons, according to a study by researchers at Johns Hopkins University. Researchers found that students with lower reading scores, in particular, retained more science information if it was taught in art-focused classrooms.
