School's remote learning model based on brain research

A school in Maryland has used brain research to help design a schedule for students during prolonged school closures and a transition to remote learning. Glenn Whitman, director of The Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning at St. Andrew's Episcopal School, writes that school leadership changed to a model that sought to support students' social and emotional growth, academic needs and overall well-being.
