Sandy and Climate Change - An Opportunity to Teach Argumentative Writing

For the past two days, I have blogged about Superstorm Sandy and the realities of climate change. Even the staunchest skeptics must accept that when Bloomberg Businessweek runs a cover story, "It's Global Warming, Stupid," it is time to take notice. Although climate change and possible solutions may seem the purview of scientists and political commentators, it would make a great topic for teaching argumentative writing.
