There are times, on occasion, when I wonder about education and this is one of them. It is as obvious as can be that students do not like getting up early. Since it is about them learning and not about our work day, I have no idea why we start school so early. I know high school students that get up around 5am to start there day. The better environment we create for student learning the better they will perform. If that is the objective then school should be later.
