Interesting way to begin a faculty meeting

From Peter DeWitt

The principal opened the meeting and asked his staff to take the first 15 minutes and call as many parents as possible during those 15 minutes to share something good about their children.

The teachers returned to the meeting completely different from when they entered 15 minutes earlier. They were excited and noisy when they re-entered the meeting.” They shared stories about how grateful the parents were for the call.

A call from teachers to parents sharing good news caused ripples of gratitude in a middle school community and it only took 15 minutes!
