Educator shares "2-3-4-5" approach to manage classrooms


Jesse Pachter, an assistant principal and athletic director for the New York City Department of Education, created the "2-3-4-5 Method" to help novice teachers better manage common classroom issues, such as a student not completing an assignment or nonviolent classroom disruptions. In this article, Pachter describes how the method offers guidance to help novice teachers understand how many people should be involved in conversations with students.'
