Common Core Lesson Planner App Feedback Wanted

I am new to the School Leadership 2.0 site, but will be here a lot, I can tell already.

I am a 3rd grade teacher in my 11th year in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am pretty sure I have the worst handwriting among all the teachers at my school. Thus this last fall, I created my own lesson planner app. It was just approved on the App store on April 25th.  - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/common-core-lesson-planner/id638009...

I recently received an email - asking why the CCLP is any different than other lesson planner. Here was my reply:

"I would have to argue though that there is no other lesson planner out there on the market that even comes close to ours.
#1. Correct me if I am wrong, but there is no other iPad lesson planner that incorporates the CCSS. That was the main reason I developed it in the first place was because I needed one. I searched Google Play, Amazon, and Apple market places and waited for months for one and nothing.. thus the CCLP idea was born.
#2. NO planner incorporates a proficiency based scoring assessment tool with a respective student reports feature. Every teacher tool I found is still trying to score students standards by percentages and A's, B's, and F's,  when our new reports cards are reporting with Minimal, Basic, Proficient, and Advanced. Those percentages and weights do not mean the same things anymore. Crazy enough this scoring system fits in perfectly with the lesson planner.
#3 - Our app keeps track of how often a teacher has taught a standard throughout the year giving them an idea of what they have already taught and what they still need to hit.
#4 - Our app is clean and professional and more importantly easy to setup and use. I have literally tried working with most all of the online planners (of which are not apps, and which are $19 -$50/month), and most are so overbearing and over complicated to the point where I had so much trouble applying them to my daily use, I quit before I got started knowing I would be wasting my time with workarounds.
What I have found is of course no system is perfect, and OF COURSE will never be perfect for all teachers as we rally are all so diverse, but for $5 and lifetime updates, this app is a STEAL. "

Cordially,

Still here... Want one last story?

We (my district) recently went to a proficiency based report card and one of the administrators in charge of the transition told me,
"We did this so teachers would have the Standards more on their minds as they teach."
I told her,
"What is a better way to have the Standards on your mind than having it right in your hand, in front of your eyes and using it on a daily basis, all while being able to quickly check off the ones that will be in your lesson and then having a count of the times you have hit that standard throughout the year. And score formative assessments on individual standards as I walk around the classroom ? You're welcome."
I did not say the "You're welcome.", but really wanted to. The End.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching

practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
