- I have been an educator for 17 years working 4 years in the classroom as a special education teacher, 4 years as a school psychologist and the past 9 years as an assistant principal at the secondary level. I have 8 years experience as an assistant principal in the high school and this past year was spent as an assistant principal in the middle school. I am currently pursuing the next step in my career and have been interviewing for principal and district level positions as well as researching doctoral programs.
