I am the director of English Studies at a French-American school in Manhattan: Lycée Français de New York. I'm also the co-author of two textbooks published by Bedford/St. Martin's for AP English: The Language of Composition, for AP English Language, and Literature and Composition, for AP English Literature. Thank you for the kind words. I am gratified that my review of the data was helpful and used to inform the work of your colleagues. I recall visiting tge school a few years ago and was impressed with the students and faculty. II sensed a vibrant setting, no doubt aided by the diversity of the sultry dents and their families.
Small world. Looks like you landed in a neat place after your stint in public schools. I have been working at ERB, an admission and achievement testing company in NYC that works with many of the NYC independent schools, including Horace Mann, where I know your kids and husband attended. I have recently reduced my time at ERB to 2 days per week working from home. No doubt a new door will open if I remain adventurous.
